Attend a Meeting:

CCCR meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. at the DESFBNRW Headquarters building located just south of the Dumbarton Bridge.

The South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project holds yearly meetings of the stakeholders forum and the three geographically based working groups (Alviso, Eden Landing, and Ravenswood). Please visit their website for information regarding upcoming meetings and field trips.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) has begun the process to prepare a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) for the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The purpose of the CCP is to outline a management plan for the refuge complex for the next fifteen years. Please check back for meeting dates in 2010.

Consider attending city council meetings within your community to find out what development is proposed that may impact creeks, wetlands, endangered species habitat, or the bay. Or participate in your community's general plan process.

URGENT!

The City of Newark will release its latest version of the Specific Plan for Area 4 (the former Whistling Wings and Pintail Duck Clubs) Wednesday, December 2nd, at 7 p.m. at the Silliman Center. Please attend the meeting to share your concerns about the proposal.

The Patterson Ranch development proposal will be discussed at the Decemberr 10th Planning Commission meeting at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers. Please attend the meeting and voice concerns you might have regarding this project.
